Message from President Kinoshita
As you know, an earthquake of a magnitude we have never experienced before hit Japan last Friday. We would like to give our deepest sympathy to all the people involved in the disaster. There is still a possibility that a big after-shock may occur within the next week, so although there was no damage to the school and our students in the previous earthquake, we need you to stay alert and to carefully observe the situation.
Earthquake information and news change every day. Please always stay calm and make rational actions based on accurate information. We will do our best in gathering information and will keep you updated with our latest response toward the situation, so please make it a custom to check our KCP blog. (http://kcpwindowonjapan.com).
We would like to continually keep track of each student’s situation, so until this earthquake issue concludes we need each one of you students at KCP to stay in contact with your teachers.
Beginning with various volunteer activities, providing care to help those people who are suffering from the disaster will be crucial from now on, and each of us should cooperate in the reconstruction, one step at a time. Your true wisdom will be tested when you face a time of great emergency. Please go through this difficult time with courage and pride as a member of KCP.
